Cancellation & Refund Policy

Free trial: Seven days at £0, followed by £19.99/month unless you cancel. The Starter PayPal plan is £19.99/month. Other reviewed plans and annual prices are shown before checkout; your selected provider manages the subscription.

How to cancel

1. Sign in to AUTO BUSINESS UK.
2. Open My workspace → Billing & records.
3. Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.
4. Keep the cancellation confirmation and verify the status with your payment provider. Stripe and GoCardless subscriptions use My workspace → Plans & payments.

If the website cannot be reached, contact support immediately using the email listed above, or cancel the automatic payment authorisation from your PayPal account. We will not require a phone call to cancel.

Before the trial ends

If you cancel during the free seven-day trial, we will not charge the first monthly subscription fee. Any remaining free trial access ends at the original trial expiry date.

Consumer cooling-off rights

If you are contracting as a consumer, you normally have 14 days from entering an online service contract to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, subject to applicable exceptions. Our seven-day trial does not shorten this period. Contact support or submit a Refund review request in Billing to exercise these rights. We do not treat ordinary renewal cancellation as a waiver of any refund or statutory remedy. Refund requests are reviewed against the contract and official payment-provider record; an in-app request is not itself a completed refund.

This form is optional; any clear cancellation statement may be used.

After a paid renewal

Cancelling stops future renewals. Any already-paid access normally continues to the end of its confirmed paid period, subject to security restrictions. Refunds and statutory cancellation rights are assessed under applicable UK consumer law, including any specific rules for digital services. Nothing in this policy overrides those rights.

Payment failures, holds and chargebacks

When PayPal has not confirmed a valid trial or payment, publication may be paused. A PayPal hold or a failed transfer to our bank account does not itself establish a new charge to you. If you believe a charge was mistaken, contact us with the PayPal transaction ID; never send card or bank passwords.
